The required IQ version to schedule firmware updates for specific locks is version 25.2.5 or higher. To schedule updates, select a 'Collection' (Site) and then go to its 'Locks' page. Here, you can filter locks by online status, controller, component, the IQ they're attached to, and battery level. You can schedule updates for one or more selected locks based on the filter applied, your selection of checkboxes, or all locks on the site. Click on the 'Schedule update' button above the table, and follow the following four-step process:
- Clarify which locks you are scheduling an update for.
- Select a component and target version for the update.
- Select a suitable time for the update.
- Finally, review your scheduled update details and confirm.
Please note that you can select multiple locks for updating in a single schedule, but updating only one component or controller is possible. You can choose this in the 2nd step of the flow, where the target update version needs to be selected.
You can check the progress of the scheduled update in the 'Updates' tab, which shows an overview of the site hardware updates in a table. Using the filter, you can search for specific updates.
It is also possible to schedule lock updates from this page by clicking the blue ‘Schedule update’ button. Keep in mind that in this case, you will be able to select the component, target version, and time for the update and this will be applied to all locks on the site that fall under that criteria.
Lastly, you have the option to select the red button 'Cancel all not started' should you change your mind.
