In order to perform hard restart ( power-cycle ) the IQ from a physical device, you have to pull the plug of the IQ and insert the plug back after a few seconds.
The soft restart (power-cycle) can also be performed from larry via the Restart IQ button.
How to reset the IQ:
Normal reset:
For normal reset: You can hold the reset button for around 10 seconds. After normal reset, the device will show RGB 3 times.
Factory reset:
A factory reset is done by holding the reset button and performing a power cycle. The reset button should be held for 30 seconds after the IQ is powered. The IQ shines with a white LED after a factory reset. A power cycle will cause the IQ to function normally again.
If a factory reset is performed, The device will show four red, green, blue cycles before starting the normal startup sequence.

LED details
If there is no valid subscription for the IQ, it will show a constant purple LED.
If the IQ 2.0 is unable to communicate with any CCC (most likely due to a network problem), it will short (0.2 second) blink red every two seconds until it is able to communicate with a CCC.
A defecteted/dead IQ can be caused by faulty flash. When the IQ is defect/dead, it will show solid blue LED.
