What is the purpose of the Toggle OTP feature?

The Toggle OTP feature allows support technicians to disable or enable the One-Time Password (OTP) on IQ units, which is required for the correct operation of the XS4 Com system. 

Why is it necessary to disable OTP for XS4 Com? 

Disabling OTP is required for XS4 Com operations because the system cannot function correctly if OTP is enabled on the IQ units. Disabling OTP ensures that the XS4 Com integration works as intended. 

How do I disable OTP on an IQ unit? 

1. Navigate to the list of IQ units in the Larry Support app. 
2. Identify the IQ unit where you need to disable OTP and click on the Disable OTP option next to it. 
3. A confirmation window will appear, explaining that once the OTP is disabled, it will no longer be required for managing the IQ’s hardware (attach/detach lock/repeater). Click Disable to proceed. 
4. After confirming, you will be immediately prompted to Reset IQ. The dialog will inform you that resetting the IQ is necessary to disable OTP, that it may take up to 10 minutes, and that the IQ will reconnect automatically once the process is complete. You will also be warned not to close the browser until the reset is fully completed to avoid any issues. Click on Reset IQ to begin the reset process. 
5. After the reset, you will be guided to Restore the IQ. Follow the on-screen instructions by clicking Restore IQ to ensure all hardware components are reconnected and the IQ is fully operational. 
6. Finally, verify the OTP status in the app to ensure it has been successfully disabled, and the IQ has been correctly reset and restored. 

How can I re-enable OTP on an IQ unit? 

1. Navigate to the list of IQ units in the Larry Support app. 
2. Identify the IQ unit where you need to re-enable OTP and click on the Enable OTP option next to it. 
3. A confirmation dialog will appear, explaining that once OTP is enabled, it will be required again for managing the IQ’s hardware (attach/detach lock/repeater). Click Enable to proceed. 
4. Once you confirm, the system will immediately enable OTP without the need for further action like resetting or restoring the IQ.
