There are generally 3 cases that would make "This IQ is activated on a different device"
- The user login the account in another device
- The user re-install the app
- App storage was cleaned by some app cleaner tool
Point 1 and 2 are expected behavior, for point 3, please reach out to Clay support with details.
Additionally, we see 2 rare cases, the user is seeing "This IQ is activated on a different device" right after the IQ was being activated. We could not reproduce the issue so probably the internal memory was somehow corrupted for those devices.
The workaround:
1. activate the IQ with another phone, preferably iOS device, then activate the IQ in this problematic device with the OTP code from another phone
